The Beauty Box: MaxFactor Eye Brightening Mascara

MaxFactor Eye Brightening Mascara £6.99

I don't normally like rubber bristles on mascaras. This mascara is the exception. To be honest, I don't really use it on its own, as I find that it gives me long, separated lashes. Obviously this is a good thing but I tend to go in with something else for a bit more volumising later. (p.s I have no idea why my camera makes my eyebrows look so ginger - they're not that red in real life!).

As you can see from the above image, the mascara adds lift and length to my lashes, helping me create definition. The mascara is supposed to have light reflecting particles and gem colour beans in the mascara to not only help brighten the eye area but enhance eye colour.

I wouldn't say it makes my eyes look bluer/greener (I have the strangest eye colour ever - it's blue with green in the middle!) but I like how it makes my lashes look. It's fairly cheap too which is great!
