As I mentioned in my Weekend Wanderings #1 post, Matt, Matt's dad and I headed to Byron burger. I'd been happily snapping away for my blog, but when I got back I realised all the snaps were blurry. So, we had no choice to return and take more, right?
Byron Burger recently perched itself on Deansgate, and is nicely placed on the corner of the street near a load of great pubs and bars. Design-wise, it's cool and bright in there.
I'd say that one of the best things about Byron is how good the staff are. They're so friendly, chatty and energetic. If you've never heard of Byron before, they focus on doing one thing, and one thing well.
That one thing is burgers...
Cheeseburger with American cheese and Aioli sauce
Onion rings (obviously)
Fries (seasoned to perfection)
My burger was absolutely delicious. Pink, juicy and a lot of meat in one bite. The aioli was a genius addition from myself, as it gave such a wonderful garlicy tang. The burger buns are delicious too, not falling apart and not being too sweet. The milkshakes are incredible. Really thick, really creamy and full of flavour.
Matt had a Byron burger - comes with dry cure bacon, mature cheddar, tomato, red onion and byron sauce (£9.25), fries (£2.95) and onion rings (£2.95). The onion rings have a delicious batter on them, meaning that they're incredibly moreish. Matt really loved the Byron burger, and was really impressed with both the flavour and how moist the bacon was.
They also have craft beers, pudding and other fantastic burgers. The menu is here if you fancy checking it out. (Pssst: they do takeaways too - you're welcome!)
If you're considering heading to Byron I would most definitely recommend it. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great!
