I'm all about the light coverage at the moment. Although my skin has been pesky and full of blemishes recently, there is just something about a light swathe of bb cream or light coverage foundation that I like. It's easier to maintain and it makes you look like you've just got up, pinched your cheeks and got on your way.
A few months ago I got my hands on the Waterfuse BB Balm and went barmy for it (hehe), so seeing that Boots had a third off all Dr. Jart, I grabbed the Regenerating Balm and the Platinum Balm just to see how they fared in comparison.
Today, I bring you the Regenerating bb cream. Exactly the same in texture, it is a little harder to blend than the Waterfuse, and the colour is considerably more yellow than the Waterfuse. I also felt that it had less coverage than my beloved Waterfuse, but still managed to hide redness around blemishes and those tell-tale dark circles around the eyes. It is aimed at those who have more problematic skin, which is probably why the texture is more waxy - meaning it will provide a stronger hold onto the skin.
In terms of bb creams, it is still quite impressive. It is full of a whole host of goodies that provide a boost to the skin, brightening it and protecting it against the sun! It does feel nice on the skin, but I prefer the slight increase in coverage that the Waterfuse offers, and feel this shade is slightly yellow for me.
It's still a good product nonetheless, and like the Waterfuse BB Balm, left my skin feeling moisturised and refreshed all day long! For those of you that are wondering, I will do a cross comparison of the three once I've got my Platinum Balm review posted.
