I was looking at my make-up collection a few days ago when my Modern Love palette caught my eye. I realised that I hadn't used it for a while, and figured I'd use some of the shadows in there.
(p.s I'm not sure why my face looks so much bigger on the before picture?!)
Base: for my base I decided to use my NARS Sheer Glow in Monc Blanc. I've only had this for about a week but so far I'm really impressed with the coverage and the finish it gives. I didn't need any concealer because it has much more coverage than my usual foundations. The brush I've found works best with this foundation is my Sigma Flat Angled Kabuki brush.
Contour: As always, NARS laguna. I absolutely love this bronzer and use it every single day. It gives me such a subtle contour without making me look muddy or orange. I blend this in the shape of a three - on my temples, under my cheekbones (or where they should be!), and just below my jaw line.
Blusher: Carrying on with the NARS theme, I opted for NARS Desire. It is scarily bright pink in the pot, but when you blend it on the cheeks you get a really lovely subtle pink colour. My favourite blusher brush by far is the Real Techniques Blush brush.
The pale peachy colour in the palette blends so nicely across the lid, and the red toned brown works well blended into the crease. I used the Real Techniques flat shader brush and the deluxe crease brush, which are by far my favourite eye tools at the moment!
My favourite liquid liner at the moment is the Soap and Glory Supercat. It has a felt-tip end which means that for those that fine it hard to create straight lines (i.e. me), liner becoems really easy. The pigmentation of the liner is really black too, which helps make the lashes look fuller. Mascara wise, I used L'oreal's False Lash Telescopic mascara. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, I'm going to use it a bit more before I share my thoughts.
