The Journal: Christmas Markets

The lead up to Christmas in Manchester is always fairly magical. Yes, the temperatures drop, but there is just something about the smell of mulled wine floating through the air that makes me happy to be there! The Christmas markets never fail to disappoint, with lots of stalls laden with edibles, decorative items and unique little gifts. Spread across much of the city, you can spend a full day meandering around the stalls, nibbling on sweet treats, and keeping warm with mugs of steaming beverages. Matt and I headed there for this year's first visit and I managed to get a few snaps.

What have you been up to recently?
