| Note from Hannah - (how beaut is Dionne!?) |
Hello Everyone! I was asked by my lovely friend Hannah, if I would do a guest blog post so here I am haha.
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Dionne, I'm 20 years old from sunny not so sunny Yorkshire. I have a blog (as you can tell) I mainly talk about my personal life, beauty and fashion and the same goes for my Youtube channel BeautyStartsWithin, so if you fancy you can see me there too.
So without further ado, here is my post, I hope you like : D
Another Caudalie product? This time it's the cleansing water. My mission to find a really good cleansing water started with another hyped product, Bioderma, now as much as I liked Bioderma I wanted to explore the market of cleansing water so this one was next in line.
So what are my thoughts?
What is it?
As I mentioned above, it's a cleansing water, suitable for removing make up and cleansing the skin morning and evening. It's suitable for all skins, including sensitive and works for sensitive eyes also. I personally like to use this in the morning before I cleanse my face just to remove any trace of make up that may still be hanging around on my face and again on an evening to remove my make up.
Price for the size?
I purchased this from the FeelUnique website. they supplies 2 different sizes of this product. For trial purposes I picked up the 100ml bottle which cost £8.10. I actually don't think that's not too bad of a price really as you don't really need that much. Plus I've been using this morning and night and I've had it about a month and I still have 1/4 of the bottle to go. Personally I think that's good going. In case you were wondering, the 200ml bottle costs £13.10 which again is a good price.
Smell?
The smell of this is really gentle so perfect for sensitive skin. Me personally I prefer the smell of the Caudalie Beauty Elixir to this but I know that smell isn't to everyone's taste. I'm not a big fan of the scent for the cleansing water but it does feel really nice on the skin so I can't complain too much, can I.
Where can I get this?
The FeelUnique website is the best place I think to purchase this from but you can also get this in some larger Boots stores and big department stores such as Selfridges.
Would I repurchase?
So would I repurchase this? I'm going to say yes and no. I say yes because it does feel nice on the skin and removes my face make up well. It does feel lovely on the skin first thing in the morning and the price is reasonable for the size of the product. However I would say no because even though it removes my face make up, it's not as effective with my eye make up. It's not as good as Bioderma in breaking down the eye make up and removing it. So far in my hunt to finding the perfect cleansing water Bioderma is still winning but I wouldn't stop searching.
Have you guys tried any good cleansing water lately? What do you use?
x

I tend to use a facial wash to get all the make-up residue off!
